ReplyDeleteThe community has created a new family, a group of friends interested in the same thing. I have made new friends, learned new techniques, and been given new challenges. But what makes it unique and special is the friendships formed. I've been in other communities, none of them go out of their way to make you feel welcome, included, and a part of the community. NPQ excels at creating a community that is actually a true community.

NPQ is my favorite nail art community because it feels like just that - a community. All members are very suportive and give great advice to one another, and I feel that NPQ is more interactive than any other pages I've seen. I also love that all page owners are sweet and really pay attention to all posts; they are always posting such lovely supportive comments on pictures and even have become familiar with favorite styles or colors of many members. Much love to NPQ and the lovely ladies behind it <3 I really appreciate all the hard work you ladies have put forth into making this community better than any other out there! :)
ReplyDeleteThe Nail Polish Queens Community is by far my favorite Communitys on G+ because they have much more to offer than just sharing photos. They host a weekly challenge that gets all the members involved in doing something fun and creative & also new. They created a blog which I think is awesome because they post members pictures so the members get recognized for some amazing work they've done. They also recently held a video chat on hangouts so everyone could finally meet eachother and talk about more than just nails and im sure they will have much more chats to come. They have lots of different catagories to post in, some to make us laugh or to show off our stash, its amazing. But what I love the most about the Community is that the owners put A LOT of work and effort into making it feel like one big family, they are so kind hearted and help in anyway possible, they made this Community what it is and I thank them for that.

All I want a community to be is a group of people who share the same passion, want to learn more about it from the others. NPQ is definitely such a community and I love it for that ♥
ReplyDeleteNPQ is my favorite for a myriad of reasons, beyond just feeding my addiction, because the community is like a family filled with people you choose to have in your life. It's awesome that a group of people from around the world can come together for one simple thing and somehow effortlessly turn it in to so much more! SO glad I found it and to be able to participate!

ReplyDeleteNPQ Community is my favorite beacause I love +sarah short challenges they challenge me and help my creative mind. Before this community I had pintrest but no one live to help me with tips and ideas when im in a rut. I love seeing everyones nails daily. I use my nails as a stress reliever from built up tension from a ex. I was going thru a domestic abuse relationship and now going thru therapy and I call nail polish my second form of therapy and this community has helped me grow and feel better in so many ways. I cheerish all the friendships ive made thanks everyone.
ReplyDeleteNPQ is my favorite nail art community because not only do the owners inspire me, but the people of this community are so incredibly helpful (always answering my questions and giving me awesome tips). It's also nice that I'm able to connect with everyone around the world through this one hobby. The challenges really makes all of use "think out of the box" and that kind of thinking just makes the best designs I've seen by far! But what makes this community truly the best is the feeling of belonging, like a family :) Although I don't know every single person in this community (because it is always growing), I just love the sense of respect and care this community has. No matter if you're a veteran or a beginner, everyone is welcome and I truly love that. It's not some kind of stuck up art club (shivers). I really want to thank +Sarah Short for inviting me to this community.

ReplyDeleteNPQ is my favorite community because it was the first community I was invited to on google+. I was invited by Jessica Garcia. It was my first week after creating a google+ account and I was still getting used to it. Then Jessica Garcia added me to her circles and invited me to the community. Shortly after Magali added me to her circles and in just a few short days I had so many new and interesting people that had added me and were sharing things with me. It really felt like a COMMUNITY and I was so happy I crowed to my husband about it all week. I was seeing and learning so many wonderful things about nails and nail art. Before I always felt alone in nail art and like I had to find and learn all these things by myself. It was very frustrating at times. But now, I feel so engaged and like there are so many others just like me in this community. It has been one of the funnest things I have been a part of in a long time. ^_^

ReplyDeleteThe Mods are amazing and I immediately followed from the previous community before even knowing what had happened because of how great they are! They are extremely involved in the community and it just wouldn't be what it is without them :)
This community is very good for me as I have been ill for a couple of years now, I am unable to work and I started to get really into nail art for something to do. This community gives me so much inspiration and is so helpful. I love the weekly challenges and although I don't take part in every single one it is great to see how much feedback it gets.
I always post pictures of my nails here as soon as they are done as I know I will get lovely comments from all the people that are a part of this community and it really makes my day :)
All in all this community is AMAZING and I love it sooo much! And any nail polish addicts that aren't a part of this group are missing out!!
I think there is too much hate in the world as well as too much hate on social media platforms.

No better place for this then on NPQ which feels like a warm bath with people that are always friendly, respectful and give encouragement.
Of course it helps that we all have the same interest :D
To tell the truth: the encouragement and challenges at NPQ are the things that keep me going to blog and share my love for nail art as it is here that I feel appreciated.

NPQ is my favorite nail art community because the owners are friendly, encouraging and engaging. They have created this warm and welcoming environment for everyone to be a party of, whether they have tons of nail art experience it are just starting out. The community members contribute to this wonderful atmosphere. It helps build friendships among people who are, at times, thousands if miles away from each other. It's just a great place to enjoy the company of other people who share your passion.
ReplyDeleteI have never belonged to any nail art type community, so I don't have any comparisons- BUT for this being my first I can honestly say that it is amazing! The amount of support I receive from the members is beyond words. I am so happy to have come across this community because without it I would be lonely in the world of creating nail art with no one to share it with. We all have the same interests (which is why we are here ;) ) and we give each other the support and encouragement we need to keep going and trying our best. The owner's challenge us to try new techniques in their weekly challenge and without it, I don't know that I would venture out on my own to try new things that seem rather difficult. They, through their weekly challenges, are basically creating new nail artists every week. They are basically our teachers! :)

And someone always has the heads up on new and exciting stuff, whether it is great deals or brand new polishes and techniques.

ReplyDeleteNPQ's is my favourite ail art community, because I actually feel involved and supported! people are always so kind and supportive whenever I post a mani, and it make me feel like i'm part of a community, which you don't get with other communities. not having many friends, NPQ has allowed me to be more sociable and talk with other polish addicts! I love how people will always answer your questions if you have any nail problems! I love seeing other peoples designs as I often get inspired by them, and try to recreate the mani myself. also if it wasn't for NPQ I don't think I would have half the polishes I own now! oh , and the weekly challenges are awesome!!

NPQ is my favourite, and only nail community because it's like a big family, and everyone gets involved to make it work. The first thing I do in the morning is go onto NPQ to see all the posts from around the world I missed while sleeping, and it's the last thing I look at before bed. It is a hive of information, inspiration, innovation, and plenty of participation, and I blame NPQ for my excessive spending and ever growing collection of nail bits.
ReplyDeleteI love NPQ because I am always learning new things. When I came to the community it was a struggle for me to simply paint my own nails but I really loved nail art. Now I am getting better and I love feeling supported and encouraged by the mods and members. Many communities are not very welcoming to newbies but NPQ is great!
ReplyDeleteNPQ is a great community because its just that.... a community, a REAL community. Most of the communities on G+ are just posts with links to other peoples blogs. Not here, everyone makes a detailed description in their post and it is so enjoyable. Blog owners are able to put a link to their blog at the end. I love this because you actually get to know everyone how they came up with their design and how and what they used to achieve it. I have met so many great people here. Everyone is full of inspiration and advice to give, from beginners to the experts.
ReplyDeleteNPQ is great community because the owners make u feel right at home.Then add the members you feel like you are alaways at a womens convention.I have joined many different types of communities and none and I MEAN NONE made feel like me and the homegirls are gathered around having a good time.Now thats kinda hard to do in this virtual world of today.BUT hey u ladies managed away to do.And on personal level.I THANK U I WAS LOST AND DEPRESSED WHEN I STUMBLE UPON THAT ONE COMMUNITY AND FOUGHT U LADIES.AND LOOK AT U GUYS NOW ALMOST 800 STRONG IN WELL AT MY HEAVEN NPQ.BIG KISSES AND HUGS AND CONGRATS TOO U LADIES.

that's what we need, a safe place, where we can share our love for nail polish without being judged, without nasty comments without hate. we are from every where, different backgrounds, but we are addicted, so it's kind of a rehab :D but instead of getting better, we are getting more addicted, because we are encouraged, and we have fun :D
and not forget to mention that it's a very active community. I joined so many others these past months but non of them are so active, they don't even stick to their own rules! but here everything's perfect :)
I would loveeee to be a winner, haha, just because all the polishes I see here are out of my reach, and i soooo envy all of you who can buy them, I just have to be lucky and wait till a friend of mine bring me some as a souvenir or a gift
I love the quality of the community members. It is really nice to have a place to come to that we can share our love/obsession of everything nail polish without judgmental, childish behaviors.

Hi, I'm McKayle, and I would like to share why NPQ is my favorite Nail Polish Community. My first reason would be that I appreciate and enjoy the involvement of the owners. They are always positive and encouraging. Second, all levels of nail artists can be a part of the family. The members share tips and tricks for designs and cleanups. I like that we share which polish we used as well as how we achieved the look. There are so many creative artists on NPQ I always feel inspired to create and do better. Members include people from all over the world but we all come together to enjoy this one community. Thanks NPQ's!!

The first of which being simply my love of all things nail polish related, the beautiful manis all inspire me and make me aspire to become better! The second of which being the sheer enjoyment looking through my stream brings me; to see the unbelievable talent displayed, the intricate and the thought provoking designs are something I will never cease to love!! Another thing I love and the most important, the people in the community, the support, the help, the comments that instantaneously bring a smile to my face. The community is not dissimilar to a family spread across the world joined together by a love of all things nails. And finally the community is a welcome source of relaxation for many, away from the stresses of daily life.

Why is NPQ my favorite nail art community? Hmmm.... Because it rocks! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, it does, but that does not fully explain why I wake up in the morning looking forward to seeing the new postings like a little girl... or why it is often the last thing I look at before I go to bed at night. I was thinking about it today. It reminds me of being in school taking art classes surrounded by creativity and imagination.
NPQ is about encouraging each other's creative endeavors, cheering on our successes and supporting one another through tough times with kindness and compassion. It is about laughter and silliness... and a shared passion for beautiful nail art and polishes. It is about learning and sharing.
It all boils down to the wonderful members that make up the community. We make each other gasp with delight, glow with pride, stare in puzzlement (sometimes :P), laugh (think chubby stars... *rolling eyes* :)), but most of all, I would like to believe we make each other smile. We have shared triumphs and failures, beautiful manis and some horror stories (think broken bottles of polish, YIKES!!).
You put it all together... we are a community.
I think NPQ is the best public community I've seen yet on G+, because, as others have mentioned above, it's a real cohesive community with real interaction between members and led by creative, passionate, friendly Moderators. What more could I say? This is everything a community should be, a place for sharing, inspiration and friendship.

I want to be apart of NPQ because of the honest feedback and non-judgemental people on this community. I am able to see designs that I've never seen before. I get ideas, laughs and inspiration from everyone posting to the community. I've learned that there are others out there with the some problems that I'm having. When I'm having a rough day I can look at this site and truly look at the cool things that others can do. NPQ has let me be apart of having art at my fingertips. Thank You for letting me and others connect in a way that some just don't understand.
