Hello Everyone!
This is the last review of Born Pretty Store. I will be showing you the Mixed Arabesque stamping plate QGirl-033.
I wanted something very simple, quick to do, so I did just an accent nail and I forgot how much it's nice to have just one accent nail. I used the leadlight technique wich consist of stamping first and then coloring. It's faster to do than reverse stamping (less waiting for polish to dry)
You may recognize the polish I'm wearing from the Autumn Flowers Nail Art I've done not too long ago, this gorgeous color will be a staple color for this autumn on my nails! So it might not be the last time you see it!
This plate can be used to do tribal nail art, and you can mix and match some of the images, and they are thin images so you can, like me, use it across like a frieze.
That was it ladies and gents!
I'll see you next time!

Mags' BPS Review & Color Pattern Nail Art
Hello Everyone!
Today I'm reviewing a pattern stamping plate BP21 from Born Pretty Store. This plate has incredible designs, and it was hard choosing one to start with :)
The base is white, then added 3 complementary colors with the dry brush technique and finally stamped the amazing design from the BP21 plate! I absolutely adore the result!
The plate have 4 different images and they are all lovely, I can't wait to use the circles and lines on my nails. Gah it's so pretty!! This is a quality plate, nothing bad to say! You can grab it if you are looking for nice patterns. You can use the code BESG10 if you want to save some moneys (10% off).
I'm usually not too much into coral/orange but from time to time I do enjoy it. Today was one of those days :)
I'll see you next time with the final review, another stamping plate, yeah I know but they have so many great plates!

Mags' BPS Review & Wavy Nail Art
Hello Everyone,
I'm back with another nail art and reviews from Born Pretty Store. Today I'll be reviewing the BPS scraper and plate BP50.
This nail art, gold and black is perfect for a party. A very easy nail art, just a plain color and some stamping nothing else, can work very well. We tend to forget that :)
It was my first time using a plastic scraper, but I had no trouble using this one. I liked the fact it was clear. I would have liked it being just a tad harder but that just nitpicking really. It was a breeze to clean up compared to my metal one. So yeah, for less than 1$ there's no arguing! You can use the code BESG10 to grab it if you're interested to get 10% off. (I won't gain anything you using it, it's just for your wallet's happiness :))
This plate is so lovely, I particularly like the waves and leaves but the hearts are very cute too, lot's of possibilities with this plate and with reverse stamping, wouldn't you say?
Lately I've been more into simple nail art that doesn't require 10 items! Just A base coat, top coat (of course), 1-2 colors and a stamping plate or freehand accent nail. There will always have times I want to complicated things but it is not this day!
I'll see you next time!

Mags' Tropical Nail Art
Hello Everyone!
Today I'm doing a quick post to show you my tropical nail art, or hawaiian shirt nail art :p
I'm going on holidays tomorrow so I wanted bright neon nails to go with the sun and sea! The picture really don't do justice of how bright they really are!
Once again it's a gradient, I can't stop from doing them since I got liquid latex, because clean-up has never been easier. And I also stamped some hibiscus flowers, to fit the tropical theme.
I know, once more, I used the Claire's Neon polishes, you are probably tired of that, but it's been such a long, sunny and hot summer, it's all I have been wanting to wear lately :) Bear with me!!
The suitcase is packed and I'm all ready to go have some great time!! Weeee
I'll see you when I come back!

Mags' BPS Review & Fruity Nail Art
Hello Everyone!
The last review I have for you is for another Born Pretty Store's stamping plate, it the fruits pattern plate from Ia Qin An number Y004.
This plate is perfect for the leadlight technique or the reverse stamping. Its fine sketched lines make for a beautiful finish.
You get strawberries, grapes, apricots, pears, lemons and apples. Yummy!
When I saw how fine the lines were I have to admit I was a bit worried they wouldn't stamp well, but I was pleasantly surprised! You do have to stamp quickly though as there isn't a lot of polish to stamp with so it dries very fast. But nothing impossible.
I decided, to do neon fruits (I know , what a shocker ;p), because why the Hell not, right?
Aren't they so yummy looking?
That's it for the Born Pretty Store reviews for now, I hope you found them useful. Remember you can use the code BESG10 to get 10% off on all the website.
I'd like to thank BPS for sending me those 4 products to review, I do like them all, and I would recommend them. I didn't get paid by or am I affiliated with this company, I just really liked the products.
I'll see you next time!

Mags' BPS Review & Beach Nail Art
Hello Everyone,
today I will do the second review out of the four I have for you. This time I am reviewing an ocean themed stamping plate .
This stamping plate is quite different from the usual beach stamping plates, it has a lot of different designs, granted they are not really complementary but you can easily do nice designs with it. If you like it and want it, don't forget that you can use the 10% off code: BESG10.
The images are well sketch and they stamp quite well. The only negative thing about it, is that on the website, they advertise a different image than what you really get, the stripes and stars one. It annoyed me, because it was one of the images that made me want that plate. I could have not mention anything but I'd rather let you know, so you don't get disappointed.
But I was not about to let that stop me! It was really challenging trying to find inspiration today but I decided to start doing my nails and 'winging' it! The results ended up being super pretty, so I guess sometimes, just sit and start doing your nails, inspiration is bound to come!
On a white base, I did the gradient stamping technique using the wavy design and 3 shades of blue, then stamped in black the palm trees and star design. Hey what do you know, palm trees on my nails, again! (someone stop me!!)
And then because i couldn't align the designs to save my life, I had a gap between the end of the nails and the start of the palm trees (yes on all the fingers), I decided to do tiny islands, but then I went even further (told you I was winging it), and decided to frame the whole nails!
Matte top coat on top and bam I was smitten! I love them so much. Blue, check, summer nails, check, palm trees, check, starfish, check, framed nails, check....what's not to love really!!?!
I'm finishing the post with a close up of the design!
Thank you for reading, I'll see you next time!

Mags' Psychedelic Circular Gradient Nail Art
Hello Everyone,
today I felt adventurous and decided to dip my toes into the great unknown and try something new, aka a circular gradient. I finally mastered the gradient technique so I figured doing a circular one would be easy peasy. And in a way it was, but not without some struggles, like trying to center it on the nail and surprisingly, applying the polish on the sponge to form a bullseye! But those little hiccups didn't make me abandon, so I stick through it and managed somewhat to do what I had in mind!
I slapped on some psychedelic stamp which wasn't the best quality, nor a centered image, but the result is quite cool, so I'm not gonna complain too much!
As you can see, the stamp isn't of great quality as there is a lot of 'blind' spots. But from far it's not noticeable. So there's that I suppose :) And I have centered the gradient on my nails (as much as I could) but forgot that the stamp isn't centered! Gah! You live and learn! At least the pinky is aligned!
I have spent few hours de-frosting my freezer so I got some booboos on my fingers and my hands aren't in the best of shape, but nothing will stop me from having fancy nails!
I hope you like this design! The colors I chose aren't the ones I usually wear but it's very fresh and summery!
Until next time!

Fabiana's ManiSteal from Elie Corzo
Hello everyone!
It is a slow Saturday afternoon and I am doing some blog/community house-keeping. Time to turn my eyes to the Nail Art Coven. :)
I am a little at at time working my way to more current manis. Today's post is the #manisteal I did of the sunny mani done by +Elie Corzo. She did a gorgeous orange based neon sponge base and used vinyls for a silver swirl. The effect was hypnotic to me! I didn't have vynils, but I think the stamping worked pretty well. :) I did a base of pale gray and the glow in the dark "Guiding Light" from Serum No. 5. Then sponged on the neons, finally stamped with Essie "No Place Like Chrome". I had an absolutely horrible time parting with it. It was soo beautiful!

Fabiana's ManiSteal from Danielle Rabone
Hi, Everyone!
Things have been hectic. As some of you know, +Keely Gallagher and I are starting a new nail art community. It has been a great adventure so far and Keely is a great partner in crime. :)
So as we set things up, I thought I would shoot out a quick post for you.
Today, I want to share the manisteal I did from the wonderful +Danielle Rabone from Danni Nail Nerd. I love her manis and I picked this fabulous design. The contrasts really caught my eye. I did add a touch of sparkle with Cirque "Magic Hour" for a bit of fun. :)
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Keep an eye out for the announcement of the new community. :)
With much affection, Fabiana.

Fabiana's ManiSteal from Elie Corzo
Good afternoon , everyone!
First... I thought I could put "Fabs" on the post title. Turns out I can't. I thought I could... but while others can call me "Fabs", Fabiana does not call herself "Fabs". Fabs feels silly that way. :P And I am referring to myself in the third person... #FACEPALM!
Before you ask... no, I don't like green eggs and ham either.
For this post, I want to share with you my recreation of one of Elie Corzo gorgeous manis. It was not easy choosing one of Elie's manis. They are so beautiful... and featuring a dazzling array of neons. Which brought me to a discovery. A massive, until now unnoticed, gap in my nail polish stash.... neons...
I knew I had three for sure. Color Club "Warhol" and "Glitter Envy", and Orly "Glowstick". That's it... This situation is going to be rectified in the next few days... completely unacceptable!
However, as of the past Sunday, doing one of Elie's rainbow neon manis was out of the question. That led me to look for one of her other manis. I REALLY did want to do one of the neons... perhaps later. :)
My choice came down to what I could do with what I have. I decided to do her stamping mani of gold over Sincerely Polish "Put a Spell on You". I do not have the divine Sincerely Polish... or her stamping plate so I improvised. I loved how it came out. :) Cirque "Magic Hour" gave it the exact right touch!
Polishes:
Cirque "Memento Mori"
a-england "Bridal Veil"
Cirque "Magic Hour"
China Glaze "Passion"

Fabs' Maniswap with Deinitisa
... and I wanted to add unicorns (but there are no unicorns)
A good morning to everyone!
Lately, I have really been enjoying challenging myself with #ManiSwaps!
For my first official post on the blog, I thought I would share with you my maniswap with the lovely Deinitisa Amarawi on G+. She asked if I wanted to do a maniswap and I jumped at the idea. Her nail art always has a wonderful, fresh feel to it and I couldn't wait. She chose my holo chevrons with neon accent. I chose her beautiful rainbow mani dry brush stamped with black. Her mani just made me happy. :)
The two top ones are the recreations and the originals are below.
A big thank you to the lovely and talented Deinitisa! (Check out Deinitisa's G+ post for details on her recreation of my mani.)
For my recreation of her mani. I used the following polishes:
Zoya "Sooki"
Deborah Lippmann "Lara's Theme"
Deborah Lippmann "Dear Mr. Fantasy"
Deborah Lippmann "Weird Science"
Color Club "Almost Famous"
Cult Nails "All Out"
Nubar "Pasadena Purple"
Kiko 336
BarryM "Guava"
Serum No. 5 "Pure Glow Getter" (Yes, it does glow in the dark...)
Stamping plate:
MoYou Kitty Collection 02
Until next time, faithfully yours, Fabiana.

It was so much fun to do this mani! Now, you will notice that Deinitisa chose polishes with a little glitter. I only noticed this after I was done. I know... No one has ever accused me of being overly observant. :P
I also used the dry brush technique (here is a tutorial by The Lacquerologist). I started on my left and then did my dominant hand and because I am not used to doing dry brush, my dominant hand came out better than the left (submissive? less dominant?...) as I got more comfortable with the technique. But of course, silly me, I did not take a photo... Queue the eye rolling.
The only thing that made me a little sad was that I did not have the same stamping plate so I could not make it an exact replica, but I loved the final product anyway. :)
Remember I mentioned that it glows in the dark? Well, it does... but I was not impressed with the effect... Am I wrong? I don't know. Just looked messy to me. Although the Serum No. 5 base "Pure Glow Getter" is just to die for!!
(I know... I remember to take a glow in the dark picture while I am not excited about it... and I forget to take a photo of my dominant hand... Yay for me)
With that, I leave you all, wishing everyone a wonderful day.
Until next time, faithfully yours, Fabiana.
